The long experience of our company has lead to the production of the crustbreaker, to use on all cultivations, without cutting the young plants.
The crustbreakers are avaiable from 1,20 mt to 6 mt and the width can be adjusted manually or by an hydraulic system on request, in order to obtain the transport measure according with the roads regulations
The cog-wheel is made by two disks of cold-stamped iron sheet, assembled with steel-rivests and by 16 highly-resistent hot-stamped steel-teeth.
The wheels mounted on a rocking-arm in pairs, are supported by a steel pivot on a double-sealed bearing.
Revolving spring of the arm carrying the cog-wheel; the spring can be regulated on different positions according to the different kind of soils and crops.
The module is movable according to the row-width.
The Crustbreaker has these purposes: It helps quick plant emergence by breaking up the hard surface crust to help the plants emerge evenly; it increases the number of tubercles to a considerable extent by assisting root spread; it ploughs under any covering manuring; it levels any furrows left by the seeder and thus improves harvesting conditions; It has some effect on weeds which can obstruct seedling growth.
